one voice has the power to create change

Imagine what we can do together

Who is centivox?

Reliable. Relatable. Effective.

We amplify messaging that benefits local, national, and global communities. Our curated community of experts collaborates to serve our common client – the public – with reliable messaging from relatable messengers.

Our approach is simple

Greater than the sum of our parts.

Centivox is a space for experts to collaborate, share and learn from each other. Together, we create partnerships and teams that may not have intersected anywhere else to affect change that no one of us could do alone.

A Place to be heard

Elevating voices.

Centivox develops and promotes experts that are less-often heard from to inform communities that are less-often spoken to and leverages established platforms to create opportunities for fresh voices.

Founders Circle

These trusted messengers represent Centivox’s roots. Their commitment to responsible messaging from the COVID-19 frontlines inspired the 2020 pro bono crisis response, AmplifyThis!. Centivox launched from that effort and we are proud to continue to partner with these acclaimed healthcare leaders.

Amy Thogmartin

CEO | Founder

Amy founded Centivox to formalize and expand on the serendipitous pandemic-era pro bono project, AmplifyThis!. Prior to this (ad)venture, she designed and implemented public policy programs for affordable housing, girls empowerment and community development. The same motivation – unlocking opportunity to thrive – is the driver of Centivox’s vision and mission. Creative solutions-building, teaming, and cross-sector collaboration make this work exciting; learning from and with inspirational people makes it exhilarating. Amy’s roots are firmly in Central Texas and Western Oklahoma, and Brooklyn has been home with her husband Steve and three now-grown kids for 20+ years.

Manisha Sharma, MD, FAAFP

Strategic Advisor | Founder

Dr. Sharma is a board certified family medicine physician, working at the intersection of social justice, patient care, health policy, system design and clinical innovation in healthcare delivery. She leads and provides strategic advisory support on multiple local, state, and national initiatives geared to dismantle structural racism in medicine and end health inequities. Dr. Sharma addresses these topics and more as a guest on national and local media outlets. Dr. Sharma has organized and led numerous grassroots physician campaigns through Doctors for America where she served as the National Director of Leadership Cultivation. Additionally, she is a recent graduate of the California Health Care Foundation Leadership and Innovation Fellowship, a clinical advisor for Zócalo Health, a healthcare service for Latinos by Latinos, and co-founder of Civic Health Alliance, a non-partisan coalition committed to helping peers and patients register to vote and vote safely.

Ashley Choucroun, MD

Senior Advisor | Public Health

Dr. Chouroun is a board certified OB/GYN with over 10 years of experience
working with underserved communities. Her primary interest is promoting equity through alternative healthcare delivery models that are patient-centered and recognize the role
social factors play in wellness. Dr Choucroun understands that our current healthcare
system is broken and leaves people to fend for themselves navigating a complex system
that is not designed to optimize wellness across our society. She believes that the view
of health and wellness as something that exists in a vacuum outside of the lived
experience of people, their communities and their personal histories, severely limits our
ability to care for and advocate with the people that need our efforts the most.

Beth Harrison Stevens, JD

Senior Advisor, Elections and Voting Rights

Beth Harrison Stevens is a Texas-based attorney with expertise in voting rights and elections administration. Beth was previously the Voting Rights Legal Director for the Texas Civil Rights Project, leading a team of voting rights attorneys and legal professionals through a tumultuous 2018 midterm election, 2019 anti-voter state legislative session, and election protection efforts during the March 2020 primary election. In mid-2020, Beth took a leadership position with then-Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins, helping lead a team at the Clerk’s office through running a presidential election during a global pandemic. The team brought innovations like drive-thru voting, 24-hour voting, and extensive mail ballot outreach to Harris County. After the 2020 election, Beth became the Chief Director of Voting for Isabel Longoria, the first Harris County Elections Administrator. There Beth worked to help set up the new office while operating in a near-constant election cycle. In the summer of 2022, Beth moved back to Austin to work closely with pro-democracy organizations. In 2023, Beth and her colleagues opened Marziani, Stevens, and Gonzalez, PLLC – a law firm focused on election and political law. Beth is committed to advancing equity, furthering democratic principles, and building community with her fellow humans.
