Opinion pieces, guest essays, blog posts and other written communications can shape public discourse and influence policy makers, business and civic leaders, practitioners, and other key audiences. With writing, you can pointedly present an argument and persuade readers with calls-to-action. A well-placed, widely-shared piece can drive additional media opportunities to further amplify your messaging. In this group workshop, we’ll cover the standard structures of various written forms, how to successfully pitch and how to prioritize target outlets. Pre-homework lets us hit the ground running with your ideas and prepare your draft for placement. All events are in EST time.
